BENEFITS IN GREENHOUSE HORTICULTURE
- The plant rebalance optimizes the vegetative development and increases production. Tissue elasticity increases, internodes have regular spacing, and flowering and fruit set are high throughout the cycle. The productions are distinguished by homogeneity of size and better coloration; the harvesting period is extended and the percentage of waste is reduced. The increased texture and elasticity of the tissues increase the hardness of the fruit, which is maintained over time.
- The increase in plant self-defences prevents and reduces pathogenic attacks and facilitate the overcoming of temperature shocks. Furthermore, the use of BioAksxter® is crucial to prevent and contain diseases (e.g. downy mildew, powdery mildew and bacterial diseases), particularly during harvesting when crop protection products with a long residual period can not be used.
- The elimination of chemical and polluting residues determines a greater shelf life, improves the taste, increases the °Brix, vitamins and antioxidants content. As demonstrated by university research, tomato cultivars has shown an increase of 10% of the lycopene content, a natural antioxidant known for its anti-tumor properties.
- The regeneration and revitalization of the soil rebalance the microorganism fauna, restore fertility and humification capacity. Crop residues degrade rapidly avoiding the onset of diseases. The phenomena of fatigue, excessive salinity and problems such as nematodes, fusarium and suberose root are contained and gradually resolved. The productions are constant and homogeneous.
USAGE IN GREENHOUSE VEGETABLE PRODUCTION
Following new tests and evaluations carried out by the AXS M31 Research Division — which have highlighted a higher incidence of diseases in agricultural fields (due to increased virulence, toxicity, and invasiveness of pathogens, as well as other adversities such as problematic soil conditions, higher pollution levels, and worsening climatic and environmental conditions) — the intervention levels with BioAksxter® M31 Agriculture for the first production cycles in greenhouse horticulture are:
1ST INTERVENTION LEVEL: CROPS WITHOUT DISEASES / ISSUES
standard dose: 4.5 liters per hectare per 120-day cycle
2ND INTERVENTION LEVEL: PREVENTION (in affected areas)
increased dose
3RD INTERVENTION LEVEL: CONTAINMENT (maximum incidence 20%)
double dose
4TH INTERVENTION LEVEL: RECOVERY
triple dose
From the following cycles onward, based on a technical assessment, the dosage is gradually reduced back to Level 1 (standard dose).
The technical evaluation also considers crop conditions and the farm’s agronomic objectives.
BioAksxter® M31 Agriculture in greenhouse horticulture should be applied every 7 days from transplanting or emergence until harvest + 1 pre-winter treatment.
The pre-winter treatment is of fundamental importance for microbiological balance, as it prevents the interruption of the decomposition process and supports the restoration of soil structure.
Shake before use. Dilute in any volume of water and apply via root or foliar treatment as instructed, using any available equipment and under any weather conditions. BioAksxter® is compatible with all other products and can be used at any phenological or cultivation stage, including flowering and harvest. Higher doses than those indicated will never harm greenhouse vegetable crops.
Application during flowering promotes pollination, as bees are attracted to it.
For soil preparation before new plantings, apply a treatment 10–15 days before sowing/transplanting. Soil-preparation treatment performed before incorporating crop residues further improves their degradation and humification.
Drenching young plants before transplanting with 50 ml per hectoliter further reduces transplant stress.
In fertigation, BioAksxter® should be added to the nutrient tank on a weekly basis.
